Local Family Honors "Pop Pop" with LIAF Donation
Last week, Long Island Alzheimer's Foundation (LIAF) Board Chairman, Paul Eibeler, named Tori Cohen, LCSW, the Foundation's executive director. Cohen has worked at LIAF since 2003, first as a social worker and later as director of LIAF's respite program. Most recently, she served as LIAF's acting executive director.
"Tori is a very dedicated and caring person," Eibeler said. "Everyone loves her-the families we serve and our staff and volunteers. It's been exciting to watch her grow into this role and we look forward to watching LIAF grow under her leadership."
Cohen says her approach is rooted in LIAF's mission: to improve the quality of life for people living with Alzheimer's disease and related forms of dementia and their families.
