In-home respite

LIAF provides two hours of In-home Respite every other week for Alzheimer’s families in Queens and Nassau Counties. The respite workers are trained in providing stimulating cognitive activities for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease. The program provides caregivers with a much needed break from their caregiving role, allowing them some time to rest, socialize with friends, run errands, attend medical appointments and more.

For more information or to arrange In-home Respite services, please contact Tori Cohen, Director of In-home Respite, at (516) 767-6856 ext. 17.
